Sugar Skulls coloring pages (27)
Print a coloring page of a sugar skull.
Sugar skulls are decorated skulls that are made and honored during Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in Mexico and other countries in Central America. Dia de los Muertos is celebrated annually on November 1 and 2. It is an official holiday on which the deceased are commemorated and honored.
Sugar skulls are intended as a reminder of a dear, deceased person. They are (as the name suggests) made from sugar. They are not for food, but purely for decoration. Sugar skulls are often very colorful and decorated with hearts and flowers.
